Sandwich n’ Such was the result of a dream to combine a love for food with a mission to provide employment, equality and inclusion for our clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Reach Toronto Autism Services is the driving force behind this initiative. For the past 6 years, Reach Toronto has been providing specialized programs geared towards helping our clients gain independence. Our programs consist of skills training in our 4 Pillars of Independence that include Financial Literacy, Residential life skills, Food and Nutrition and Employment/Education.
Sandwich n’ Such is our 4th and most important pillar combining both employment and education. It is the pillar that allows our youth and adults with autism and other disabilities to gain confidence and gives purpose and opportunity for inclusion in the broader community.
Through our love for food and our passion for working with youths and adults with a disability and with the help of some incredible corporations, we created our own social enterprise, where we hope you will come and support us – not only because it’s a great cause – but because our food is insanely delicious.
